I am really really frustrated that we have been forced to use a broken editing system.
Let's start with the simple fix, and one that is now way long overdue.
The new editing system is badly broken when it comes to correcting errors, especially in pieces that contain multiple paragraphs.
If I or anyone posts a comment that is more than one paragraph long. Save it, and then realize you've made a typo, we are graciously given a chance to correct errors, Sadly the spell checker goes, but worse so does the formatting you had in the original.
Write something longer than a paragraph or two, and guess what, you might just be on a serious deadline to correct all the new errors injected into your piece when it comes back out as one big long paragraph.
Yeah, I know, most people are trolls, making all of their comments in less than one paragraph. But does that mean that cheap sound bytes should be a strategic agenda here?
Please, PLEASE PLEASE! Fix this problem. If I write a comment that has more than 10 paragraphs, I will have a hard time fixing the mess within the few minutes I'm allowed to re-edit.
