Atomic Energy of Canada at a crossroads, nuclear experts say

OTTAWA - Canada's recent decision to join a global nuclear partnership and the impending review of Atomic Energy of Canada have put the heavily subsidized corporation at a crossroads, nuclear industry experts say, with some degree of privatization likely on the horizon.

AECL's future was thrown into turmoil last week when the federal government announced it would review how the Crown corporation fits into its nuclear energy plans.
